JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or AVIF, several at once
Free · Private · Runs in your browser
How it works
- Choose images, or drop them anywhere on the page. They compress straight away.
- Adjust Format, Quality and Max size. Every image re-compresses live.
- Compare original and compressed, then Download one file or all of them as a zip.
Auto encodes each image as WebP and as JPEG (PNG when it has transparency) and keeps the smaller result. If neither beats your file, the original is kept. Everything runs on a canvas in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.

Questions
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Compression happens on a canvas in your browser — the files never leave your device.
What compression is applied?
By default, images are resized so the longest edge is at most 1920 px, then re-encoded at 80% quality. Auto tries WebP and JPEG (or PNG for transparent images) and keeps whichever is smallest. If nothing beats the original, the original is kept.
Can I compress several images at once?
Yes. Add up to 50 images; each one shows its own savings, and Download all gives you a single zip.
What happens to transparency and animated GIFs?
Transparency is kept with WebP and PNG. JPEG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white. Animated GIFs are reduced to their first frame.
Why did my file barely shrink?
It was already well optimized. In Auto mode the tool keeps the original rather than hand you a bigger file.
