How to use
- Pick what the code should hold (link, Wi-Fi, email, phone, SMS or contact) and fill it in. The code updates as you type.
- Adjust colours, margin and error correction, or add a logo.
- Download PNG or SVG, or copy the image. Reload anything from your recent list.
Wi-Fi codes let guests join your network by pointing their camera at it. Contact cards save a name, phone and email straight into the address book. Keep dark modules on a light background, and always test-scan before printing.
Questions
Do the codes expire?
No. A QR code is just an encoding of the text you enter — it points wherever that text points, forever.
What error-correction level is used?
Medium (about 15%) by default, which keeps codes easy to scan. Adding a logo switches to High (about 30%), so the code still reads with part of it covered.
Why is there a white border?
Scanners need a quiet zone around the code to find it. The QR spec asks for 4 modules. You can reduce it, but test-scan before printing on a coloured background.
SVG or PNG?
SVG scales to any size without blurring, which makes it best for print and design tools. PNG works everywhere; it's exported at the size you pick, with crisp, pixel-aligned modules.
Is my history shared?
No. Codes you download or copy are kept in your browser's local storage only. Wi-Fi codes are never saved, because they contain the password. Remove single entries or clear them all.
